Rob LeDonne is a self-proclaimed highly-respected American writer.

A native of upstate New York (before it gentrified), he kicked off his career as a 'joke faxer' for the debut season of Jimmy Fallon's Late Night. Since then, he has penned material for a variety of obscure television shows and specials including three seasons of Saturday Night Live's Weekend Update, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno’s final season, the Creative Arts Emmy Awards, MTV's Video Music Awards, and Fox's Teen Choice Awards. In addition, LeDonne has served as a consulting writer for the Onion News Network, MTV Weekends and A&E's Critics' Choice Awards.

He also served as a Senior Writer for legendary advertising agency TBWA\Media Arts Lab, helping relaunch and foster Apple TV+’s voice on Instagram and Twitter. He fumbled with his iPhone in front of Tim Cook once.

For some reason, LeDonne is also a freelance culture writer, regularly writing for Billboard, Esquire, Vanity Fair, Vogue, The Guardian, the Observer, The New York Times and FLAUNT. His work has also been seen in Interview, TIME, The Washington Post, Vulture, MTV News, Conde Nast Traveler, Genius, Maxim, Vice, Teen Vogue, MEL Magazine, The New York Post, The Daily Beast, and Variety. He is also a regular contributor to The Recording Academy’s Grammy.com, but please don’t blame him if your favorite artist lost their Grammy.

LeDonne has profiled and interviewed everyone from Olivia Rodrigo to Martin Scorsese, Diplo, Spike Lee, Fran Lebowitz, Kid Cudi, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Ringo Starr, Andrea Bocelli, Shaun White, Clive Davis, Peter Jackson and Joan Baez, to name a few. He has attempted to also interview his mother, but her list of demands are exorbitant.

His humor has appeared in The New Yorker, Playboy, Billboard, Complex, Funny or Die, and The New York Daily News. LeDonne was a regular contributor for Time Out New York's 'Rants' section, and has written a series of humorous LGTBQ personal essays for GQ.  He has contributed to Rolling Stone since 2014, including an annual comedic skewering of Super Bowl commercials.

Brand and marketing clients have included Equinox, Marriott Bonvoy, Glassnote Records, Atlantic Records and Smashbox Studios.

A resident of Williamsburg, Brooklyn (a diverse neighborhood populated with both tech bros and finance bros), LeDonne is a graduate of New York's New School and has also studied at both Hofstra University and UCLA. He has studied and performed comedy at Second City: Chicago (as part of their Comedy Studies program), as well as New York's Upright Citizens Brigade and the People's Improv Theater. His birthday is May 7th and his social security number is 372-38-9991.
